I'm having a productive day today for a Sunday... Sitting on my laptop trying to clear out my email and inboxes on both my email systems! I've drunk a couple of cups of tea and take one day at a time... Tomorrow will be another day and already I have it planned!
Wishing you all a happy day today!

I'm feeling better today. I went through a really bad flare-up and felt just ghastly and didn't want to see a soul. Psoriasis can be murder with inflammation and pain. But today, I woke up and felt just a little better, just enough to know it was going to be an ok day. One step at a time, right? How are you all doing?

@upanddown As a life long sufferer of Psoriasis Nervosa and the pain and embarrassment this illness causes, I would have tried anything to stop the pain and the continual itching.
It took years of appointments, tests, treatments and medications, one of which has caused irreparable kidney damage, until a 'new' consultant on my clinic suggested Humira injections. I hate needles, but within weeks of starting the treatment I noticed a vast improvement, so I now brave injecting myself every 4 weeks and can only say that I have been COMPLETELY PSORIASIS FREE, for about 5 years, without any side effects. I suggest that next time you see your consultant you request, quite strongly, that you be prescribed this type of treatment. The consultant will do their best to request that you try all of the other treatments first, as the injections are VERY VERY EXPENSIVE. Stick to your guns, it is your health and they are responsible for giving you the BEST TREATMENT AVAILABLE.
Here's hoping that this helps you and you don't have to suffer needlessly with this illness. I suffered for 40 years, with the pain, itching and hurtful and abusive comments from rude and uneducated people.
I would never go out without being totally covered up, even on the hottest summers day, so no one could see my Psoriasis, now I will walk along a beach in just my swimming shorts.

Would just to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year. I’v had a very difficult and challenging year and I don’t think next year will be much better. I’m struggling with my heart. I go and see my cardiologist at the begging of January and I’m hoping they come up with a plan of action.

I watched a film last night and it was about someone suffering from domestic abuse, and it it brought back so many bad memories, that I was going through with my first marriage, and all I went through by having my life threatened, being stalked by phone calls 24 /7 ,and all the abuse while I was at work ,I know this was a long time ago but it brought all the bad memories I had going through it at the time ,it upset me so much I couldn't get to sleep I only wish I hadn't of watched it ,but I'm so glad my husband now isn't that way you can forgive but you never forget that is why I suffer now with traumatic trauma depression or PTSD that it is called now ,thank God I might have a lot of illnesses but I would never want to go through that again it has left me with so many scars and I still find it hard to go out on my own and if I go anywhere I have to sit with my back towards a wall or a seat I dont like anyone sitting behind me for fear of being hurt .Tiger

AmbassadorLizzie when we loss loved ones some people are expecting to grieve in the same way with each bereavement, and are even more upset because they dont. this can be for many reasons, for example it could be the age of the loved one, how close you were to a certain person, how well they physically or emotionally knew a loved one. or lastly some of us may never have met a loved one for many reasons. or if physical events had taken place ,and a loved one could not be viewed by family and friends
this happened me was because, my son and i parted with bad blood between us, and when his baby daughter was born , and died age 50 minutes i was banned from attending her service or internment, her name was Rebecca Jade, but i called her Becky, and i bought her a small headstone and i go to her grave at least once a month with fresh flowers. i will always love my grandaughter, but possibly not as much as my Angel wife or son, who took his own life.?
