Hi Josephine. I'm pretty well at the moment, thanks. Have made new friends and am getting out more. I hope I can keep it up when the summer goes!

@CuttySarc Thank you so much xx
I have suffered all my life...we unfortunately do not receive great care for mental health issues here in Northern Ireland ….they are beginning to approach it a little better now as we have a high suicide rate.. but still we are not being given the help, at best you are offered anti depressants when unfortunately those off us who suffered during the 33yrs off the troubles and the children born into it need more than anti depressants,,,,I guess it is a tidal wave they don't know how best to approach...sadly

I’ve felt pretty good today, when I write my books it tends to take my mind of off things for a while.

I feel absolutely stunned and am so low, is it worth it.
My wife of over 35 years, has left and sent me a text to say she is not coming back.
How low can you get before wanting to just give up

i am feeling very depressed this week. a run today has helped me cope but its very hard when any little thing is making me cry lately. Ive braved booking a driving lesson and ive emailed a counsellor for help with my relationship so even though nothing is solved , i at least feel better that im doing something about it. finding everything hard with no close friends to talk to.

I felt tense today, especially when I went to the shops to buy food for the house. I got mixed up with the prices, even though the shop was to blame also. I felt tense with my wife also as she complained that the meat I bought was very tough. I am never really at ease, as I have no confidence or belief in myself..

AmbassadorLizzie when we loss loved ones some people are expecting to grieve in the same way with each bereavement, and are even more upset because they dont. this can be for many reasons, for example it could be the age of the loved one, how close you were to a certain person, how well they physically or emotionally knew a loved one. or lastly some of us may never have met a loved one for many reasons. or if physical events had taken place ,and a loved one could not be viewed by family and friends
this happened me was because, my son and i parted with bad blood between us, and when his baby daughter was born , and died age 50 minutes i was banned from attending her service or internment, her name was Rebecca Jade, but i called her Becky, and i bought her a small headstone and i go to her grave at least once a month with fresh flowers. i will always love my grandaughter, but possibly not as much as my Angel wife or son, who took his own life.?
