Luckily, I do not suffer from depression.
I take one day at a time; should lockdown come in Northern Ireland, I'll take it when it happens. Sticking to the rules is my plan, wearing my mask, washing my hands, social distancing, and playing my part is my motto!

@Courtney_J These are difficult times we're going through, I find it's gotten hard to keep my head above water, so to speak.

Hi everyone hope you are all keeping, it looks like we all might be ok when we get this vaccine, things are looking much brighter now I'm still very worried though of going out, I wear a mask and I have a clear one now so I can talk to my friends that are deaf like myself ,the weather here in skegness is very cold ,I havent been out as it still worries me about catching this horrible virus ,I have lost so many friends and a family ,but now there does seem to be light at the end of this very dark tunnel, my box came yesterday and it contained 2 bottles of prosecco, to toast my grandaughter, a link to watch the ceremony, and 2 beautiful pins I can watch this on u tube but I did shed some tears as it wont be the same as seeing her by being there ,this pandemic has really ruined everything, it's like history repeating itself when my mother was dying she also never got to see her first grandson get married, it was 2 days before she passed away I had to be there to help him celebrate his special day but really I wanted to be with my mother as she only had a few months before she died but she died 2 days after his wedding he was married 4th Feb 1995 and I lost her the 6 th Feb 1995 ,so that is why it is so upsetting for me ,but that's my life and how it is all been for me nothing ever is good or kind for me Tigger xxx

Oh Tigger sweetheart, nothing feels kind right now but your going to make I just know you are because you sound like a very kind and loving person. You are there for your friends and family and smile for them even when your feeling low and unwell yourself. Raise that glass of Prosecco high to toast your Granddaughter then get get ready to enjoy the happy holidays to come that's what your mum would want I'm sure. We only get out of life what we put in honey.
Very tight cyber hug x

That's the spirit my lovely Tigger. We must all try to make it through some how I read so many threads and say to myself hay that's me too, can no one help us. We have to be strong for each other so that we make it through each day, share knowledge and experiences and most of all love.
God bless xxx

AmbassadorLizzie when we loss loved ones some people are expecting to grieve in the same way with each bereavement, and are even more upset because they dont. this can be for many reasons, for example it could be the age of the loved one, how close you were to a certain person, how well they physically or emotionally knew a loved one. or lastly some of us may never have met a loved one for many reasons. or if physical events had taken place ,and a loved one could not be viewed by family and friends
this happened me was because, my son and i parted with bad blood between us, and when his baby daughter was born , and died age 50 minutes i was banned from attending her service or internment, her name was Rebecca Jade, but i called her Becky, and i bought her a small headstone and i go to her grave at least once a month with fresh flowers. i will always love my grandaughter, but possibly not as much as my Angel wife or son, who took his own life.?
