Not having a good week as lots have been happening with someone in my family been feeling really depressed haven't slept very good thinking about different things and being 70 hasn't helped when I was younger. I could cope but now Ibeing older I find it much harder to shake things off hopefully this week will be a little easier,

I am feeling ok as it's a better day for me my mind is focused on getting the three appointments to attend this week out of the way. My moods are up and down depending on what I have to cope with. I'm just dreading the dentist on Friday as I have an extraction to get through. Hope everyone has a good day

I'm new on Clobazam for epilepsy... 10mg daily. I find a side effect of this is now minor depression and irritability. I will be speaking to my neurologist soon.

Although I'm not depressed, lately I find that I'm feeling very low. I have nothing to do in life, apart from going to the gym every other day and praying.
Until 2 months ago I was running my Amazon business but it is very challenging and I have made a big loss in 4 years. I am closing the business down and relying on my enhanced PIP and rental income from a 1 bedroom flat that my mother bought from my share of my late father's estate. I'm concerned though that the cash payment for pip will be changed to vouchers and I can't pay my bills, food, home insurance, TV direct debits etc to pay for. The Government of the UK of both political parties are bullying the long term sick and low income earners.
I'm relation to my wellbeing I feel I can't give my wife the support she needs as a husband. Whilst everyone is different, I can't do not even a quarter of what most working people do. I suffer from epilepsy but don't want to play the victim card.

@Sunshine5 I know how you feel I am dreading when the DWP change the pip payments to vouchers they've already taken my mobility component from me after getting it for years.

I am in hospital and my emotions keep changing from being glad to be alive and not wanting to come out of the operation at all and go to heaven and meet my angel wife. I'm waiting for major surgery. I have recently pacemaker surgery for my heart

Had a really bad week this week. Monday was really cold right through me I couldn't get warm, then later on I started to wobble all over sliding to one side on the settee my wife had to keep putting me straight. It got worse I couldn't stand didn't know where I was and was really ill . Bless her my wife was brilliant, she helped me get to bed undressed me even took me to the toilet, I couldn't understand what was happening, it didn't appear to be a hypo or hyper as my bloods were at a reasonable level. Next day a lot improved but brain fog and I kept mixing my tablets up. Wednesday started returning to normal but I had a bad chest Tuesday so had started on my rescue pack antibiotics and steroids. Then bless her my wife came down with a case of a really heavy cold and it knocked her for six. So all in all it's been a real crap week. Here's hoping this week will be better for us both. ps my wife said Monday was like me being blind drunk and I haven't drunk alcohol for over 40 years

I am paying £300 a week for my care after having a stroke it uses up my PIP and Old Age Pension only have £40 left
The Pip payment is supposed to cover the cost of additional expenses but it doesn't it uses up most of my Old Age Pension as well

AmbassadorLizzie when we loss loved ones some people are expecting to grieve in the same way with each bereavement, and are even more upset because they dont. this can be for many reasons, for example it could be the age of the loved one, how close you were to a certain person, how well they physically or emotionally knew a loved one. or lastly some of us may never have met a loved one for many reasons. or if physical events had taken place ,and a loved one could not be viewed by family and friends
this happened me was because, my son and i parted with bad blood between us, and when his baby daughter was born , and died age 50 minutes i was banned from attending her service or internment, her name was Rebecca Jade, but i called her Becky, and i bought her a small headstone and i go to her grave at least once a month with fresh flowers. i will always love my grandaughter, but possibly not as much as my Angel wife or son, who took his own life.?
