Lady asked me what I started taking for three months and seen major difference in joint movement.
Vital3.com this clinically proven and I am one saying it works at least others are seeing the changes in me.
Hope you benefit as well. They gave me cream for joints and found this better than dr gives and no side effects.

I have managed my osteo arthritis without pain killers from the 1970s when it was called rheumatism. It affected all my joints when I did hard physical work for a while. I then had a back problem diagnosed as scoliosis with lip degeneration of some lumbar vertabrae, this was in the 90s I got knee problems when I worked hard or danced - did this twice and recovered partially, then I fell sideways and bashed all my left leg down outside and the leg lets me down gives me a lot of pain and I need a support at knee, however I am recovering slightly but waiting for x-ray report and treatment?
Alongside all the time that this has taken to get so bad (I am now75) I originally went fisharian so nothing on four legs. I dont eat cakes pastries sweets - moderate alcohol - loads of fresh fruit and vegetables and all meals made from scratch - natural fats avacadoes coconut oil virgin olive oil and butter, not too much other dairy, himalayan pink salt and supplements of glucosomine msm and cod liver oil calcium and magnesium. If I need a pain killer (full day out) I take ibucalm with a prior stomach protector. I have managed it all myself for approx 40 years by diet and lifestyle without painkillers until now. It may not work for others - we are all unique, but if you are at the beginning of the problem rather than it being established, its worth a try.

Hi,
I haven't been on this site for ages. I've got OA in ankle, spine, hips and knees {or at least it looks like the knees have now joined the party} I've had 2 hip replacements, second one didn't work and after 4 weeks post op doing one of the NHS exercises I fractured my greater trochanter bone. I'm now on crutches permanently {2 and a half years up until now} I'm on paracetamol, naproxen, stomach protector, and also mst {slow release morphine 20 mg twice a day. Recently like I said my left leg started getting sore {it had been my hips and spine that had bothered me before} then it moved to my other leg, now its my knees but they are really sore so I've just been for and MRI on both of them and am waiting for a result
To make matters worse I went into my husbands bedroom and was going up the side of the bed and caught my foot in his duvet which was hanging down too far and fell.....last night.....that has made me even sorer.!!!
My transport is, crutches when I can use them.....after that fall I find it difficult.....a mobility scooter.....I drive my car but once again after yesterday I don't think I could drive it for a while. I'm just hoping that the soreness from the fall is only temporary and I can get back to my car and crutches.
Sorry for the lengthy pot but not sure whether I mentioned this before and as for the fall I certainly didn't mention it.

When applying for PIP you need to ensure you list your problems carefully. They look at pain levels and what you can do. Never state good and bad times. If you are in as much pain as me with arthritis then list each activity the worst pain. We pain suffers get used to pain and can take a lot, people without this pain do not understand (hidden disability). ie Difficulty standing. list what you use to get up, be it a stick, hanging on to a windowcil, chair cupboard. what you do before you move. what you hold to move around that area. what you are scared of ie. falling. break it down into each action which you most probably do without thinking etc. there is a very good website for assistance its "Benefits and work" it does cost a little, but their information is well worth every penny.
Hope this helps, and also if they state you are not entitled and you think you are use the appeal system because they do not know everything and they are not doctors. Benefits and works will tell you exactly what you need to do this and exactly what and how you can check you are eligible.

I have OA in my Spine both knees and hands. It was well controlled on Celebrex for number of years, but after the media report on patients suffering heart attack my GP took me off them. That was 3 years ago. I wanted a trial period without any anti inflammatory, so I started taking natural remedies, and added Ginger and Cinnamon to Glucosamine sulphate, MSM, Cod liver Oil, Omega 3 which I have been taking for number of years. 2 months ago I started taking Golden Paste (Turmeric with Black pepper and Coconut oil) The difference is amazing, and I am not in as much pain I was before starting Turmeric. I am still not on any inflammatory. Of course I do some hydro therapy in the swimming pool twice a week and do regular back strengthening exercises as well as walk. All this helps a great deal. I walk with crutches, and that is permanent, following 2 major spinal surgeries for Scoliosis. My advice to all OA sufferers is to keep your weight down to avoid extra strain on your joints, particularly knees and hips, and do some form of exercises regularly to keep the pain better controlled.
Good Luck to all the sufferers.

Please re-apply for the PIP again and make sure you attend the assessment. I am in a similar and was awarded PIP. If you have been x-rayed or seen a consultant, tell the assessor the name of the Doctor you are with at the hospital so that they can speak on your behalf.
Go luck

I had a hip replacement 16 months ago due to osteoarthritis. I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. Yes I was not looking forward to everything post op, but I am now 100% mobile and after not being able to walk any distances I now enjoy walking again and I've managed to lose 2.5 stones. Totally pain free and I've had lots of comments about how much happier I look - my face was obviously showing my pain. If you have any questions please ask!
