I have had a short try of it. I did not like the side effects....especially tiredness....and I stopped it.
Now , I am on Sertraline 50 mg a day.It has taken my pain and tiredness away...

Pregablin is very good for nerve pain such as Siatica or slipped disc. It does have horrible side effects as well as weight gain. It makes your mind very foggy. I have a log standing back problem and I was on Pregablin 300mgs twice a day for 6 years. It played havoc with my mind during my post op period. I was advised to stop it immediately as it is not advisable on long term basis. Since I stopped it my weight has dropped off and I now take tramadol 50 mg. just I the morning, and it sees me through the day

I've been on Pregabalin 300mg x 2 daily, for a few years now for nerve damage and my weight has gained but I found that it would jump up and down by as much as 7lbs per week. Yet over 12 months I did loss 15lbs but don't ask me how. When taking pregabalin you must come off it very slowly, I was on gabapentine before and was told that pregabalin was better for me. I have a bad memory now and struggle to get to sleep but once I'am asleep I'm dead to the world some times sleeping for 10 - 12 hours a day.

Yes, I am on Pregabalin 75 mgtoo. I take two in the morning and one at night. I have them for 'Arnold Chiari Malformation'. I have been on Pregabalin since 2006. I don't notice whether they are to blame for my weight gain because I have always had weight problems and more so since I had been taking steroids for Asthma since my early 20's. Pregabalin helps with my issues of Chiari Malformation
The best thing to do is to change your diet to healthy foods and eat more fruit and vegetables and drink plenty of water. If you eat the right foods and exercise or light exercising the weight will come off slowly. Some medication plays a big part in weight gaining but, if you notice this then your half way there and you can act on it to help yourself. It is hard I know. I have fell by the wayside many times and gained weight and found it hard to lose again as I got older. I am 68 years old with limitations to exercise because of many health reasons but, I am attempting to lose weight again, I started yesterday. I find sugar-free jelly helps me with my diet so I don't eat so much.
I lost weight on the 5.2 Diet too, very effective.2 days of fasting Monday's and Thursday's are my days and eat normal (with-in reason of course) 2 Day Fasting: eat breakfast as normal. Mid-day eat an apple. Evening meal chicken breast/fish, 1 boiled potato, green beans. Or what ever you fancy that is low in calories. I use a side plate for my meals when dieting this way. And I find Jelly helps me too. You must drink plenty of water, I always keep a bottle of tap water in my fridge. I have been dieting this way for many years previous ( I didn't even know this diet had a name, I just done it my own way) It does work FASTING don't mean you have to go without. You can always chew on a carrot or cellery if you think you need too.
Best wishes

I have an extreme bloating with pain. And every year it is getting worse. Nothing is helping me.Normal pain killer won`t help. It is like living hell when it is on for days on end...

I had a hip replacement 16 months ago due to osteoarthritis. I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. Yes I was not looking forward to everything post op, but I am now 100% mobile and after not being able to walk any distances I now enjoy walking again and I've managed to lose 2.5 stones. Totally pain free and I've had lots of comments about how much happier I look - my face was obviously showing my pain. If you have any questions please ask!
