hi everyone im new to this its my first post I have anxiety and depression at the moment in the middle of an anxiety flare up dr wont increase my medication am feeling vey lonely and isolated am a carer for my daughter who has severe learning disability we live alone my son has left home I just don't no where to turn for help

Winter is really hard. It's not the holidays, it's just the grey, the rain, the cold. I'm missing a friend who passed recently has been on my mind too.

Studies have shown that certain lifestyle changes, particularly exercise, can help improve depression symptoms. If you haven't had a chance to read it yet, we just published an article on the subject: Exercise: Can it help to treat depression?

Hi everyone,
I have been battling depression since I was diagnosed with postnatal depression when my daughter was about 2 months old. That's almost 20 years ago now. My daughter is 20 years old in September and I am 40 years old in November.
My depression went downhill just over 3 years ago as I lost my beloved dad to terminal lung cancer due to smoking.
I'm finally on the right dose for me now.
