InPain1956,
Good Evening Sweetheart.
My advice is go straight to the point!
Dont be afraid for being “stubborn “!
Just say “Either I can speak and maintain My aGP I will make a Formal Complaint against the Surgery for being ignorant obnoxious and appalling behaviour towards My Condition!!
Sweetheart Thank God I don’t have that problem with the Team that takes cares of me that listens to me and try the impossible to help me!
But I am a really patient and professional language used. But when I’m patronised.... RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!
Be strong and fight for your rights!!!!!!
Hugs 🤗

it is raining heavy here too.it has been raining for the past 5 days, day and night. had a few hours of no rain today, the sun poked its head for 10 minutes and then another downpour of rain. So if you don't take Morphine, Tramadol or Codeine, what pain killers do you normally use? I can't tolearte Morphine, but tramadol only on aas and when requried bases works wonders for me. i can't take Codeine, nor any anti inflamatories either. I am veryy limited to what I can take for pain. Amitryptyllin works well for me when in severe pain. i only take 10mg at night only if i need to.
Lots of hugs to you my friend

Hi Lovely Christina,
I only take Paracetamol and Naproxen for my severe back pain due to my osteoporosis. For my Neuropathic Pain I take Amitryptyllin 75 my Morning and Night and Pregabakin 300ng Mirning and Night.
It helps but I feel the pain 24/7 and I developed in my brain a block for the Pain!!!!
I was offered Opioids for my Neuropathic Pain and I just said(from my heart), I’m not ready to even talk about them. End of conversation on Pain Clinic! I was happy for respecting my own opinion!
But today has been a horrendous day pain wise... I carry own... I had a fall yesterday and flipping “broke” my head on the right side... and I carry on...
Its raining badly here windy and cold but really cold!!!!
My Love 💖 My Hugs 🤗
Have a Lovely Weekend.
Izzy.

Hi Izzi
So sorry to hear that. Do you mean you had a cut on your head due to fall? Pregablin helps with nerve pain, but over a period of time it makes you gain weight and develop brain fog. I suppose you are used to it if you have been on them for a long time now. What can I say? You seem to soldier on regardless. I admire you for it. This rain does not help the pain nor the emotional side. Its depressive when it rains day in and day out non stop. Do you live alone? Do you have any help?
Hugs to you my friend

Dearest Lovely 😊 Christina,
I hate the Pregabalin it made me gain double of my weight. The brain tumour is most likely thanks to it and to the Amilsupride that I have to take in the morning for my constant “shaking!” 100mgs in the morning!!!!
If I don’t take this Amilsupride 100mgs in the morning plus 2 msg of Clonazepam 2 msg TDS....
And Christina my SMA is winning!!!!!!
I try to be strong independent honest but I know that the SMA is BLOODY WINNING....
Really annoyed with this weather to be really honest!!!! It’s June... Summer????
Im dying and I know it!!!!! But laughing 😂 is the best !!!!
Hugs 😐 and Kisses 😘

Hi Izzy you made me feel very sad. I truly admire you for carrying on and laughing even though you know you are dying.
I asked you if you live alone, and if you are receiving any help from social services and carers. I hope you are. You deserve it and qualify for it. Yes, the weather has been so horrible. its supposed to be flaming June? I do hope that the heat wave they are talking about, is on the way.
Well my dear friend, keep laughing but also keep praying. I will also keep you in my prayers.
Love
Christina

My dear dear Izzy
I can feel your pain and your sorrow. it is very painful when your own family don't want to know you. How can any one be so cruel to your own flesh and blood, I don't understand hat. Who have you got in the way of family?
Do yo live in an apartment, house or bungalow. Do you have any neighbours who could look in on you periodically to see if you are okay? Why have you not got any friends? Can your GP not get you any help from SS? If i lived close to you I could look in on you but we are miles and miles apart. Do you pray? Are you religious? Do you belong to any church or a pastor or priest or Minister who could call on you?
Okay my friend, hope tomorrow brings you a better day.
Lots of hugs
Christina

My Dearest Christina,
I have no Family here. My Dad died in 2009. I miss him.
My Friends after my diagnosis vanished ALL!
SS give me a Social Worker to came and assess me then 1 week after I don’t have none!
My neighbours hate me because they don’t understand what is wrong with me but they don’t even ask nothing!
I had a Priest that come twice to my 1 Tiny Bedroom Flat to pray with me then never came back!!!!
Its life I guess!!!! Just my Beautiful Cat to make me smile and to love me...
Its not easy!!!
Hugs 🤗
Izzy.

My dear Izzy
You said you have family in Portugal. What family is that ? Have you got a mum, brothers or sisters, cousins?
I know that when you have disability, your friends disappear one by one, and its not easy. Why does your neighbour hate you? Have you tried other neighbours around you? Invite them for a cuppa and get to know them better. If they don't understand what is wrong with you, try and explain. Often people don't know what to say to you because they don't understand your suffering. You can ring Age UK. They are very helpful. They have volunteers to come and visit you, just so you have some one to talk to. They can some times arrange to send you a transport to invite you to luncheon club so you can meet other people, make friends and you do get support from them? Where do you live now, what part of England? Find out where your local Age UK is and get in touch with them. How do you do your shopping, who takes you? Do you use Mobility scooter? They can also arrange something with the social Service workers. Don't take everything lying down. Fight for your right. Do you get pension credit? If not, its worth inquiring about it. Do you get your medication delivered to you on regular basis?
You can still get in touch with your local church to arrange for a visit from your priest or volunteers from the congregation. Are you a Catholic? Do you receive Holy communion? Do you have faith and say your prayers and talk to God? he listens you know and unbeknown to you, He helps in mysterious ways.
I wish you comfort and peace my friend. Take care.
Hugs.
Christina

I had a hip replacement 16 months ago due to osteoarthritis. I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. Yes I was not looking forward to everything post op, but I am now 100% mobile and after not being able to walk any distances I now enjoy walking again and I've managed to lose 2.5 stones. Totally pain free and I've had lots of comments about how much happier I look - my face was obviously showing my pain. If you have any questions please ask!
