Hi izzi
Lots of hugs on the way. Sorry it was a bad day for you today. We all have them some time or another. Hope tomorrow is a better day for you. keep what ever exercises that you can manage on daily basis. Like I said before, every little helps. Click on Google, "Exercises for seniors". There are quite a few seating down exercises easy to follow. try and do as many or as little you can manage. In the long run, it will pay off. Stretching is very important. We need to do stretches every day and loosen up those tight muscles to help us move better.
Good luck
Christina

Hi Izzy
I did have a go and he sitting taiChi DVD. it is not very difficult and it does work every muscle in your body and involves most of your joints. it is to do with coordinating your breathing and relaxation along with the physical exercise. It is hour long but you can stop after 17 minutes if you can not do the hour. How helpful it is, I do not know at the moment as you have to be dedicated to do it every day. i have done, 3 sessions of an hour each. Time is of essence. i do not have an hour to spend at it every day as there are other exercises that i do, plus swimming, gym, house chores etc. Did you look at any on U Tube?
Good luck

Morning Sweetheart,
I haven’t had the time to do nothing. My SMA brings me Medical Problems.
Im working with a Dentist as my jaw bone is so weak that my teeth are falling....
Im at the Eye Hospital as I’m getting blind... The Consultant was really honest and I appreciate honesty.... She thinks that I have a brain tumour caused by medication for my SMA...
Im just drained with everything and the worse is that I’m alone on this journey!!!!
Ill have to dedicate time for it on Sundays....
It looks like my “Social Life!” Just became overwhelming!!!!!
Hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Hi izzy
So sorry to hear about all our problems. Brain Tumor to top it all. I can understand you not having the time and journeying all on our own. How do you manage to get to the dentist, opticians, hospital appointments. Do you use the hospital transport or does any one take you for your appointments? How do you manage? All I can say that I will keep you in my prayers. may God bless you

What makes me angry is the fact that I don't get to see the same doctor so I feel since moving to my surgery 13 years ago there is no one doctor that truly knows me or my condition and don't know what to do about it. Has anyone any ideas as I desperately need help with the arthritis pain I am in and I had an x-ray 17 years ago and nothing since and the Doctor wants me to go to physio!!! I just cannot believe I have not been offered another x-ray or mri scan. I suffer from osteo-arthritis x

Hi Izzy
I know, the hospital car or ambulance pick other people up as well and take them together and they take you well before your appointment time and bring you back very late, dropping people off. its a pain. But I suppose if you don' have any other option, you just have to put up with it. Why do you need paramedics to take you? Ar you attached to any medical equipment or at risk whilst in transit?
Hugs to you my friend.

Hello Beautiful Lady,
I need wheelchair but most importantly is oxygen in transit...
But because I was an A&E Nurse I can’t really complain some I remember and as soon we start taking we “speak the same language!”...
Like on my last fall I only went to A&E to XR my ankle..... there is always trouble because I don’t shut up!!!!
Pain relief is so stupid that I’m on the edge that I told them screaming NO MORPHINE NO CODEINE NO TRAMADOL!!!!!
Its appallingly the escalating of pain relief for those “BRAINDEAD!”
But for you only my Love 😍 my Hugs 🤗
Have a lovely weekend!!!
Its raining here and cold in Manchester... horrendous!!!!

I had a hip replacement 16 months ago due to osteoarthritis. I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. Yes I was not looking forward to everything post op, but I am now 100% mobile and after not being able to walk any distances I now enjoy walking again and I've managed to lose 2.5 stones. Totally pain free and I've had lots of comments about how much happier I look - my face was obviously showing my pain. If you have any questions please ask!
