How are you all doing today?
We know that depression is a serious mental illnessβit's not just about feeling sad. But while it shouldn't be trivialized, there are steps we can take ourselves to help manage it, and physical activity can be a key part of that process. In some cases, engaging in sports or regular physical exercise can be more effective than certain traditional treatments for depression. πββοΈπͺ
It turns out that sports can play a big role in improving mental health thanks to its many benefits, such as:
On top of that, participating in sports can help build a social network, which can be a great support system. π€
