Hi, I have a SAD lamp and it was very affordable. I am now 53 and realised many years ago that this time of year effects me and albeit I dont shout out about it, I do find said lamp and other lamps certainly help.
Peer support and getting my teeth in to helping others helps too.
Thank you

Hi
Yes, I have one. It seemed like the easiest and affordable way make me feel a better. I don't see why more people don't have one, it's just like a normal light, but better

I take each day as it comes, try to have a focus for that day. Today is pretty good, but it gives me a nudge every now and again. H

Hi everyone,
How are you today?
Have you noticed we are in autumn? It's starting to get darker earlier and there are more rainy days. We are soon into winter. Some people buy SAD lamps to combat Seasonal Affective Disorder. This type of lamp is supposed to simulate the sun and increase the production of serotonin.
Does any one experience worsening symptoms of their depression due to seasonal affective disorder? Have you tried a SAD lamp? Does it work?
I'll tag a few member to get the conversation started.
