@Lily2013 I've always been the type to start up a journal and then leave it by the wayside after a few entries. I'm glad it's helped you, I may think about taking it up again.
I think I've found over the years that some people don't seem to know how to react to depression and unfortunately many don't reach out becaause they don't know what to say. I try not to take it too personally and focus on myself as well.

Hi Sodowninsurrey please do try with the journal again I write in mine because I can't have these conversations with my family as it would just end in arguments and I'm not that person I dont like a atmosphere being able to talk and tell them my true feeling would be my goal but it never seems to happen. It's not easy everyday is different but focus on you and what your needs are as i know to well focusing on others and not getting respected is a wasted emotion as i have learnt now i try to think more positive and not surrond myself with negativity and take each day as a start to a better day. So I hope you start to write again always here if you need a chat.

@Lily2013 I think I will, I hadn't thought of using it to hash out conversations, that's a different way to look at it and I think it could be very helpful for me. I agree, there are many things I can't say to family because it would upset them. Thanks for the idea!

I take each day as it comes, try to have a focus for that day. Today is pretty good, but it gives me a nudge every now and again. H

AmbassadorLizzie when we loss loved ones some people are expecting to grieve in the same way with each bereavement, and are even more upset because they dont. this can be for many reasons, for example it could be the age of the loved one, how close you were to a certain person, how well they physically or emotionally knew a loved one. or lastly some of us may never have met a loved one for many reasons. or if physical events had taken place ,and a loved one could not be viewed by family and friends
this happened me was because, my son and i parted with bad blood between us, and when his baby daughter was born , and died age 50 minutes i was banned from attending her service or internment, her name was Rebecca Jade, but i called her Becky, and i bought her a small headstone and i go to her grave at least once a month with fresh flowers. i will always love my grandaughter, but possibly not as much as my Angel wife or son, who took his own life.?

Just don't know how to cope with this desease, mind blank then racing then suicidal and intrusive thoughts all the time, legs and arms burning, neck and shouders so stiff, ringing in ear, head in a bubble being squeezed from the inside out, trembling inside, crying, no concentration. My god i feel like i am dying slowly.😢😢
