@ahhhwelltherewego Hello ahhwelltherewego, I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. The community is here to support you. I don't know if you've had a chance to read it yet, but we've just published an article on mental health during self-isolation. It has some advice and links and numbers for resources that you may find helpful, I'll link it here:
Mental Health: How to better cope with self-isolation?
Hello members, I hope you don't mind that I've tagged you. How are you doing during this stressful time? Do you have any advice on how to help ahhhwelltherewego feel better in self-isolation? What do you do to stay positive?

Just to kick me in the teeth, they have stopped pip money to zero as the woman from CAPITA just told a pack of lies. How sad some people are. Supposed to be isolated and now got 8 days left to leave my house to try and get medical evidence ect when everything is closed anyway? Disgusting decision too make.

While i have no money worries at present, my wife who suffers from COPD, her money will stop as she has reached her 26 weeks sick pay this will see a marked decrease of monies coming in, We will have to rely on our savings to keep us going. I try to keep my self active, doing 6 kms walk in the morning followed by 30 minutes of gym work. We have done everything we can to keep active i.e painting the front and back gardens and clearing out a lot of clutter from the house and attic accumulated over the last 26 years. My advice to you is to contact your local MP and make a big issue of your payment being stopped. Again I agree with Tigger put it on twitter facebook and all the social media outlets that you can and see what happens. My thoughts are with you at this time.

I find the confinement to home difficult. I just like to feel free even though I just go out a little. Life is more stressful trying to obey the distancing rules etc. I am 76 and not allowed to go shopping or even outside our house. The strictures create stress. My wife and I ordered some food but the delivery was all wrong with half of the order missing and the shop do not show any real interest in sorting it out. Days drag on ; my wife can get out for 2 km but I think she is not advised to shop because of the pandemic which has taken control of the country. A friend of ours is dying of the Covid 19, she is 90 but it is sad to die alone, without your family; my wife spoke a few words to her yesterday and she was very unwell and had not been informed then about the diagnosis. Sadly some younger persons have contacted the disease and died and even some teenagers. I pray for all those who are suffering now that God will bring them relief to die in peace. I am not able to ask questions as I just muddle on. May God bless the carers and all those in the front line who care for those in hospitals etc. God bless.

I'm struggling as well cooped up inside with only my thoughts and anxieties. I really need to find a hobby like you @Tigger.co.uk, I just haven't really found anything that "sticks" and it's hard with the shops closed. So I just scroll on my phone or laptop. I know it's not good for me, but I'm afraid to go out and catch the virus. I just want this all to be over. And then reading others' posts makes me feel stupid for complaining because some people are dealing with such bigger and more dire things and here I am complaining and feel down over nothing. Sorry for this little rant, thanks for listening or reading rather.

Please dont feel that way as your health is just as important, it is hard but if you are finding it difficult you do have everyone on here to chat to ,so you are definitely not alone ,do you like playing games because if you look on the play store there are a lot of smashing games there is a few like doing puzzles to make houses that's fun ,but if you like reading maybe have a look for a free download on a book or magazine ,you can stream lots of things that are free just tap free games, free downloads, do you like seeing maybe add some thing to your clothes ,just have a look because you can buy things on line tapestry or if you like cooking make something nice but you are just as important as anyone else including me ok please take care stay safe your friend tigger xx

I take each day as it comes, try to have a focus for that day. Today is pretty good, but it gives me a nudge every now and again. H

AmbassadorLizzie when we loss loved ones some people are expecting to grieve in the same way with each bereavement, and are even more upset because they dont. this can be for many reasons, for example it could be the age of the loved one, how close you were to a certain person, how well they physically or emotionally knew a loved one. or lastly some of us may never have met a loved one for many reasons. or if physical events had taken place ,and a loved one could not be viewed by family and friends
this happened me was because, my son and i parted with bad blood between us, and when his baby daughter was born , and died age 50 minutes i was banned from attending her service or internment, her name was Rebecca Jade, but i called her Becky, and i bought her a small headstone and i go to her grave at least once a month with fresh flowers. i will always love my grandaughter, but possibly not as much as my Angel wife or son, who took his own life.?

Living with anxiety and other mental illnesses
Suicidal thoughts, not coping, how to get treatment without carrying out my plans?
