Just basically going to say what everyone else has said, getting help actually shows how strong a person you are, its never easy to see your ill sometimes, nearly 4 years ago i was sectioned with welll they actually and no idea what was wrong just my behaviour was weird so they treated me for around 7 months as depression, it was not that i got more ill, then i had an MRI check for brain tumours no that was clear. then thought Scizophenia, nope, finally got Scizo affective disorder.
I am only 24 and so far i have had like 4 mental health breakdowns, lost friends because of it and boyfriends.
Keep talking to whoever you feel happy to talk too, sometimes talking helps.
Always welcome to message :)

Hi Haze24,
That sounds like an awful period of your life.. Your so brave for getting through all that and coming out the other side.
I'm only 24 too! Sometimes it really does help to hear other peoples story :)
Thank you for your message. <3

EmzieM; Always remember you are never on your own as there are lots of people in this group going through hard times.
Although you may feel like you will never get to were you wish to be but believe me ; you will. xx

No worries and i say this to everyone but drop me aline whenever you like, i go on here pretty much everyday :) I like to try and help people, i used to bottle everything up and i still do i guess, but on here i can just say how crap i feel :)
Take care and just ride out this stormy period of your life, in theory it gets better :) Just take one day at a time :)

I take each day as it comes, try to have a focus for that day. Today is pretty good, but it gives me a nudge every now and again. H

Hey,
This a little hard for me as I haven't been diagnosed with an illness yet and my family and friends do not know about what I'm going through as I don't even know myself...
Basically for the past few years I haven't been able to cope with hard or even minor situations without getting myself into a state! Overthinking and feeling very insecure to the point of not sleeping, not wanting to go out and even self harm. When I'm not in this frame of mind I am my bright bubble self but lately I have being having more bad than good days.
I'm mainly just looking for any advice or tools to cope! I don't know if I want to be put on tablets or go to a doctor I am currently trying to decide what is best for me.
I have a beautiful daughter who I want to be happy for but I know I need some sort of support. So this is why I'm here. Any advice would be appreciated..
Thank you
