I can completely relate with writing too!
I started a blog, and I write about what I am feeling/thinking/up to.
It has helped MASSIVELY! I only just found this site and I am hoping to learn more about my condition. Also, maybe you should post some of your poetry on here so we can read it? Maybe some people could relate!
Keep smiling :D

Suicidal thoughts, not coping, how to get treatment without carrying out my plans?

I take each day as it comes, try to have a focus for that day. Today is pretty good, but it gives me a nudge every now and again. H

I have suffered from depression for as long as I can remember. I don't feel medication is useful being used as a permanent treatment, rather more a suppressant. When I was 25 I got the urge to write poetry, once I started I couldn't stop and soon realised this was a great way to express how I was feeling, in a positive way. Ive been writing for 5 years now and find it so useful when I'm feeling really depressed, it is also a good way to capture your mood and identify possible patterns.
My my passion is helping people! there's no better feeling than making someone else smile or doI get something for them that could inspire and encourage them or even just to make them feel that little bit better.
If if anyone would like me to share my poems please let me know or if anyone just needs a chat or some friendly advice, I'm just one click away.
