I have been struggling for the last 4 months while I was keeping physically fit my mental health was deteriorating slowly. I tried to keep positive but the demons just kept creeping in. While I cope most day my physical exercise has come to a complete stop. I just cannot seem to get the right motivation to get up and go walking as I used to.

In my case I think it's my depression and anxiety that have hurt me physially. I barely have the energy to get out of bed or leave the house, let alone exercise.

I take each day as it comes, try to have a focus for that day. Today is pretty good, but it gives me a nudge every now and again. H

Hello everyone,
Following our latest article on how anxiety affects the body (Anxiety: What is it and how does it affect the body?), I thought I would open this discussion so we can talk about the link between mental and physical health!
What do you think?
Have you noticed that your mental health has taken a toll on your physical health? Or is it more the reverse - that your physical health impacts your mental health? How do you cope with either situation?
