Laughter certainly is 'just what the doctor would order' as it releases the much needed 'happy hormones' which will lift your mood + aid any anti depressant medication that you may be taking.
In my opinion you can't beat a good laugh.
Love and laughter makes the world go round. xx
Stumpy , don't waste your energy worrying about the 'crash', enjoy the laughter and the good feeling that it brings.

Well the crash wasn't as bad as I expected, it was a little bumpy but I coped ok, I think mainly because I was looking forward to what I knew would be a good day today, although my expectations were a little lower than just how good my day would be

Isn't it always a nice feeling/ surprise when something turns out better than you were first expecting. It's hard not to be negative at times especially when we have been through so much. Keep smiling & laughing xxx

It's a wonderful feeling and surprise when something turns out better than we were first expecting, I'm trying to stay positive, and keep smiling, but today has not gone to plan, and if today has been a very unproductive day, I'm not sure how I'll feel tomorrow, Sunday is always a hard day, but I'm trying to keep an open mind, hoping I'll find a laugh from something to keep some positivity xxxx

I just had a birthday message from my counsellor on Facebook, and in a following message he sent me a sticker, that upon first glance, looked rude, I laughed so much, I was crying, I feel great, I can't get down from the good feeling, usually laughter never has quite that powerful an effect.
Does laughter help to lift depression, does anyone else experience a high that you cannot shake just from laughter?
Is there a chemical involved in the laughter process, can I mimic it?
I've needed that for a long time, but being stuck in this high, I'm worried about an extreme crash later.
