I have RA and fibromyalgia, i have tried CBD oil for a month and did absolutely nothing to improve my conditions. Some say it helps them but not me.

Hi @aitch60 I didn’t have any improvement as well when I tried the CBD oil but I think that the strengths of the oils available in the UK just aren’t strong enough. The problem is the costs of these products are just ridiculous especially as these are unregulated products so who knows what strength we are receiving or if Zthere’s any consistency. It’s a bit of a lottery until there’s some regulation. I’ve heard about the patches but again they are very expensive! Good luck with your quest to seek a solution to ygour pain. If you do find something that helps please let me know. I’ll add you to my friends list. X

I too am in constant pain with my Arthritis. like many of you. I can barely move my neck from side to side, my right shoulder and wrist creeks with every movement Back hurts all the time. I have had 5 spinal surgeries and have loads of metal work in my spine. i walk with 2 crutches when I am out, but can walk without in the house, as I can always sit down somewhere. Steroid injection in my right knee has helped, now left is getting very painful too. With all that, I still carry on with life. I go to gym every Sunday and swim twice a week. I also do on line exercises to slow down the deterioration in my joints. I don't take any painkillers but do use natural therapy. I am going to speak to my GP tomorrow to ask her views on CBD oil. I am aware that GP will not prescribe it, but just want to sound her out to see what she thinks.

I have been in pain so long I've lost count of the years. painkillers did nothing for me. Until 2 years ago I was rushed into hospital in Great pain. I had a tuma in my bowls that bust. Now have to have a bag I now have a stoma. The reason I'm telling you this is the pain killers I was given ,which was a lot were killing me. Being taken of all meds I haven't much to work on. . You guessed it I turned to CBD oil. At first it helped a little not much went onto a stronger one. Yes it was getting to expensive. Then someone told me take it an hour before night time.. 3 nights later I was sleeping better with no pain in the night. Day times still alot of pain but the first part of the day is lovely more movement . No it doesn't work all day but I get that little release first part.i can just about afford the 1000 gm wish I could have the stonger one money isn't what I have. Hope this helps you Josie

Unfortunately, I have other issues besides Arthritis - Spinal Stenosis, and Myelomalacia. I take CBD oil (not hemp oil, a con), which somewhat attenuates the conditions. I started off cautiously low, but am now on 70mg/day via 2 x 10drops from a high concentration 30ml bottle containing 4800mg. The dropper had to come from another brand as the supplied dropper is not accurate as a dropper. Beware of high prices from exploitative sellers.

I had a hip replacement 16 months ago due to osteoarthritis. I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. Yes I was not looking forward to everything post op, but I am now 100% mobile and after not being able to walk any distances I now enjoy walking again and I've managed to lose 2.5 stones. Totally pain free and I've had lots of comments about how much happier I look - my face was obviously showing my pain. If you have any questions please ask!
