@FionaBailey Hello FionaBailey, Thank you for your comment. Sounds like you're going through a lot. How are you doing now?
By the way, there's a fact sheet on Carboplatin. Feel free to leave an opinion on your treatment if you're feeling up to it.
Take care,
Michael

@maddoglady sorry to hear this and I agree that they don't like you having opinions. It's as if you are stupid, as in , just do as the doctor/nurse says and be a good little girl. I am 76 and have held down very responsible jobs, I am neither stupid nor awkward. I just want the best treatment for me.

@GGPam76 Thank you for commenting. I think we all can understand the frustration of being talked down to by our medical teams. What has your treatment been like?

Up to now its been good but I can't get my head around the decision to not operate . So far I have coped really well with the diagnosis but now I am worried sick that the cancer will spread. I know they say that the medication will keep it from spreading but if they thought that I needed an op prior to coronavirus then I still do.

@GGPam76 Oh this coronavirus is just wreaking havoc for everyone, isn't it! I feel like every discussion I've been on today has people worried because their treatments have been moved because of this madness. Stay strong, the medication will work and you will get through this! xx

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
How are you managing your treatments in this post-lockdown period? Were your appointments and treatments postponed during lockdown? Have you been able to reschedule them? How are you feeling now?

Hi im still finding everyday a struggle, I take each day as it comes , i think about the cancer coming back and frightened that if it does ill not get the treatment ill need at the moment, as its been in the news aswell its scary, because my best friend has just been diagnosed with breast cancer and she's had to wait 8 weeks for her op , and also I said goodbye to one of my closest work friends this week ,as he lost his battle with covid 2 weeks ago so its been hard this year has been the worst year of my life ,I know there are worse people off than me but I'm struggling so much but today's a better day than yesterday hope your all well xx

Hello everyone,
When diagnosed, how much did your doctors include you in your treatment plan? How does your plan look? Surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, targeted therapy - or maybe a combination?
Good day to you all,
Marina
