Hi I had same problems, they kept upping my dosage, changed the tablets but still nothing worked. It was then suggested I start injecting my penis just before sex.I just did not bother. So after two years I must say my erections have been more frequent and for longer.Unfortunately my wife for the past 15 months has had 3 big operations which has put an end to that.Good luck for the future.

None of the tablets (Viagra inclusive) had no effect, tried Muse but that was very hit or miss, vacuum pump works but it's a mess on and not conducive to spontaneity, my consultant said only option was to inject into penis. Bugger that was my reply, nearly 3 years on and don't get natural erections at all and often can't be bothered with the bugger on with the pump.
Has anyone received counselling on the after effects of prostate cancer as I got offered nothing?

My husband has been using the pump for 10 months and it works quite well with Viagra. Daily Cialis was being taken along with using the pump (not always for sex !!) 3 or 4 times a week which is also called penile rehabilitation. But now it can’t be prescribed due to be restrictions, so just using viagra when using the pump. Apparently the injection isn’t as bad as it sounds, very fine needle. All help came from Macmillan nurse. We had to jump through hoops to get help. Definitely an area that needs to be talked about more.

@Debdaisy @carbuilder @reevee @dennit It is nice to hear that I am alone...it can be very frustrating to experience and it feels so awkward to try and talk about it. It makes me feel useless...
I think I will try viagra with the pump...I don't want to seem negative but I don't feel a massive amount of positivity :/

Husband spoke to GP about the penile injections who said we need to go through Macmillan nurse. Actually GP admitted that she didn't know much about it !!

@joeydunlop I'm glad you're healthy now! The bicalutamide was part of hormone therapy? Did you have any ED issues from it afterwards? I wonder if some treatment have a stronger impact on ED than others. Almost four years later I'm still having issues.

Hello,
I am in remission for prostate cancer but I feel like the damage done to my ability to get erections is still very bad. It is obviously a lot better than before but I can't keep erections for long and it is very, very frustrating..
Has anyone else been experiencing this? Going to go for another consultation and see if I can change my medication...
