Never had any of those symptoms, just went for a general check up and asked for a psa test at the same time.Slightly raised but after 6 months it was raised again and then was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Must admit that now I have finished my treatment I do go to the toilet more often, especially after drinking beer. Sometimes a bit embarrassing when I'm watering plants as I have to rush off and once or twice have not made it to the loo in time. Change underwear time.

Had all of those before being diagnosed, then Prostate biopsy followed by Sepsis and continuing UTI's. Prostate removed and told that would end UTI's, but now 10 months on continuous UTI's and getting nowhere plus incontinent as well. Totally depressed with whole scene but glad Cancer has gone.

Im afraid I didn't get any of the symtoms and it was only because i went it for something else that through the blood test noticed my raised PSA.

Not sure anyone is still interested in this as it's been some time since anyone contributed. It just struck me that perhaps 5.6.7 applied to me before I was diagnosed but I would add that I suffered headaches which no one seems to mention. Following surgery the headaches stopped immediately and I gradually got back to feeling more or less fit and well. I do have ED but this can be overcome in numerous ways. In my case I have a SOMA T
herapy pump which I use at the same time as taking tadalafil and the results are quite satisfactory. I continue to have a weak flow of urine but this is not really a problem and it helps if your stood up. Overall I consider myself to be quite fortunate and if I had to do it all over again I would still go for Surgery. Just get rid!.

I more or less am in the same place though taking any of the ed tablets has no effect at all. Urine flow was very forceful but seems to have eased of to a normal flow recently. I am 2.5 years post surgery. Not a fan of the pump but better option than sticking needles in my penis.

One of the warning signs of prostate cancer is a marked difference in urination. There are seven "warning signs" for prostate cancer concerning urination:
Did you suffer from any of these symptoms before being diagnosed?
