I have just finished 20 sessions of RT and although my latest blood test is 0.5 I have to have 2 years of HT injections, I have been on them for 6 months and the side effects for me are very bad does anyone know if there is any other option, I now that the tablets cause very sore breasts .any advise would be appreciated/

My consultant took me off the injection when it went down to 0.9 and i was told to start again when it reached 10. I told him that on this forum people who were down to 0.2 were still on the injections but he told me that they can cause heart problems and brittle bones and that if the blood count reached 20 it would not do me any harm. It seems that everybody have different ideas. The only problem I have is hot flushes and feeling very tired at times.
