@superman Hello superman, thank you for starting this discussion. Let me tag some members who can possibly share their experience with testosterone therapy.
Hello all, how are you today? Have you tried testosterone therapy? If so, have you seen any benefits from it? Is it safe for people with a history of prostate cancer? Feel free to share here!

@superman it has been a significant problem for me for many years. It was only after the prostate cancer diagnosis that it was identified as an issue, probably lifelong. Testosterone gel was Reluctantly prescribed after consultations with my urologist, endocrinologist and GP. The fear was it would increase the risk of the cancer returning. The treatment made a significant improvement to my quality of life until tests showed an increase in my haematocrit level (thickening of blood). I was advised to stop use of the gel, which I did, and since then it’s been downhill all the way. Changes to diet and exercise regime have not helped and hypoglycaemia is now an issue after any exertion. My advice would be to give it a go, under close supervision, because there are significant differences of opinion in the medical profession and we are all different. I am awaiting an appointment with my GP to start using the gel again. It would be good to be involved in A control group where supervision is by someone with a holistic, not compartmental, approach to the problem.

Very interesting article. I had the Standard 3 Injection protocol 3months apart. It was first thought i could have just 2 but covid raised its evil head and Radio Therapy was delayed. I have gained weight (also lock-down contributions) Hot flashes and irritability, but par for the course.

Does anyone here struggle with low testosterone?
I recently tested lower than normal for my age, by what seems to be a pretty significant amount. Doctor says testoterone therapy will help me feel better and give me more energy and stamina (also help with weight loss long-term)... has anyone had any experience with it? Any thoughts or advice for those who have a history of prostate cancer?
