I don't let lock down or Covid bother me. My hubby has multiple underlining conditions and with his age of 83 he is very vulnerable and at high risk. So we just remain shielded. Do all our shopping online, and only go for medical appointments if we need to. We go for walks in the field when weather permits and we do exercises to videos on line at home. No point in getting fed up. It is what it is, and we have to live with it. How we live with it, is an individual choice. You can either make your self miserable and moan all the time and become a couch potato, or you can make yourself creative, get busy, do keep fit, clear out cupboards, get the photo albums sorted, do all the things you did not have the time for, before this Pandemic and get on with it

I'm hanging in there!
When on public transport, I'll wear a mask, but once getting to my destination, I'll change it for my 'Hidden Disabilities' lanyard and card. I cannot breathe with a mask on and being on new epilepsy medication now for my 2nd week, it's vital I try not to have a seizure! This petrifies me if I cannot breathe.
I'd still love to get rid of all my health diagnoses and symptoms, but I suppose I'm now stuck with them, so might as well carry on with life as usual! There's no use complaining. I'm a positive person and will continue to stay that way.
Sending love to you all!

Update... I'm finally on new epilepsy medication and can only stay positive! I'm in my 2nd week whilst weaning off the older medication... My Neurologist must be so backlogged, that I really feel for the medical industry as a whole! My epilepsy nurses have been wonderful and kept great communication, and my Pharmacy is collecting my prescriptions from my doctor and delivering my medications. What more can I ask?
Due to brain aneurysm surgery last August, I received a phone call yesterday just 'out of the blue', to go for a check-up MRI on Thursday 8th October, 2020.
Thinking of you all, please stay safe and above all, stay as healthy as possible!

I've had epilepsy now for 47 years and am a tough cookie!
I am a positive person and my mother was the one that gave me the strength to be independent and carry on with life... Wishing you all on the site a wonderful day, a good week and please stay safe and healthy!

Greetings izzyjamal and Tigger, sadly the Tenna Pull up pants are not big enough for me, I have to use ones that hols 3000> mils of wee, and the ones I am supplied with are not that absorbent, so I have resorted to wearing 2 at a time, one back to front of the other, this method seems to be helping stop leakages and wet pants.
There are pads that go higher, and buying them is when I can afford them, even the thicker more absorbent bed pads, My GP is thinking of what else could be causing these bladder problems, and where do we go next trying to improve things, and make my life less of a hassle.

Hi everyone. Hope everyone is as best as best can be considering.
I have several problems with my spine hips feet shoulders elbows hands neck etc due to juvenile arthritis. Also had covid at the beginning of the pandemic fighting for my life in intensive care and thanks to the NHS amazing people I'm still here. Had several joints replaced but trying to hang onto the rest as long as possible because trust me even after joint replacements it doesn't end the pain. Recently had revision hip surgery due to infection and pelvis rotting away basically. Loads of bone grafts. Spinal stenosis scoliosis etc etc but hey ho I've just got to keep going.
I recently bought an inversion chair always wanted one but always too scared so this time I thought go for it. Well...best thing I ever bought! First time was a bit scary so gritted my teeth and did it. Omg it was heaven! Felt like I had been put on the rack (like they used when I was a child) instant pain relief in back and hips. Why didn't I buy one sooner,!
Had to wait for surgeons ok to use first but it's amazing. Only problem I can't use it alone as I need help getting on and off haha so maybe the table instead of the chair may have been easier. When I eventually get off I honestly feel taller than I have for years. Can only use in moderation but I really would recommend the inversion table or chair.
It might not be a long term cure but it's something I know that can give instant relief it's definitely with a try but ask your surgeon first.
I have every device you can imagine from massage machines to electric stimulation even compression boots that inflate and massage to reduce swelling.
If anyone is really suffering with back pain maybe you should give it go...I did and no way do I regret it.
Stay safe everyone.
