@jonscfc Hello and thank you for your post. I am in a similar situation but I got a mobility scooter thingy. It can go 20 miles without recharging. So easy to drive and it gave me back my freedom after 15 years of pain and depression. I think they can be rented. You'd be surprised at how much better you could feel if you were able to get out and about for just a few minutes a day. Hope is there for you and I will send you my energy to help you too. Hugs G

@GloriaG , thank you so much for your inspiring reply. It is so kind of you and has lifted my mood. Ive been so down and fed up recently, i was actually thinking of getting a mobility scooter but never looked to far into it, i will do now though. You are very inspirational and such a strong lady with a great outlook to life. I have had these back issues for a few years now due to wear and tear, but i have been diagnosed with generalised Myasthenia Gravis which has turned my life upside down , it has so many symptoms to deal with. But at least i know if i got a scooter its not all doom and gloom and as you say just getting out for a few mins a day will do wonders , thank you so very much for your greatly reply x

Recently diagnosed with a damaged nerve, after five years of excruciating pain like cramp, in my buttocks and backs of thighs! Physiotherapy was recommended but not much help unfortunately. After several medical conditions this is the most debilitating and I would dearly prefer not to experience the symptoms. Any thoughts my friends?

I’ve just seen your post @Mrs E Larkin and very much empathise with you experiencing excruciating, bilateral nerve pain. Many many years ago experienced excruciating trigeminal neuralgia (unremittingly for almost 2 yrs) and frequently have bilateral sciatica. I’m not sure what possible interventions you’ve tried to ease this but have thought of a few that you might want to try? Using a TENS machine (doesn’t work for everyone but more times than not it works for some of my MS spasticity/nerve pain. Self- massage +/or trying a Shiatsu (vibrating) cushion - perhaps using either very hot +/or cold applications may “confuse” the nerve into “behaving itself? Other options in my personal arsenal of interventions include; Acupuncture, Reiki, Reflexology, Crystal therapy or seeing an Osteopath +/or Chiropractor? I’ve used all of these interventions / treatments both in the past and currently, with varying degrees of success. I so hope you will find ‘something’ will give you some respite asap x

Bless you that’s so annoying ,I have that problem every now and again , the worst time turning over in bed and I can hear what sounds like tap tap noise in the ear then it settles down , something to do with the inner ear , been a problem for years but no joy with the doctors so I just put up with it . I wish you all the best , take car .🙂
