Nineteen Gale I buy incontenance pads at the moment. My Dr has given me a wk supply antibiotics again two for seven days. After that one for seven days. If it starts again that I cant control my bladder she said I'd need an ultra sound to see what is going on. As I'm housebound this is very difficult for me to get to the Drs. I will let you know if anything changes. Thankyou so much for caring cheers x

Because of the medical condition you have,, you are entitled to have the incontinent pads on prescription and you don't have to pay. Are you 60 or over? Under the current situation of the virus, the appointments are very slow coming. I have recently developed Liver damage or Injury, related to the medication I was given to cure the Fungal infection of the toe nail. I have been waiting a long time for the Ultra sound Scan. My GP is trying to chase it up, as the treatment can not start until the result of the scan to see how extensive is the damage and weather or not it is repairable The GP can arrange for a hospital transport free of charge to take you for your appointments. Make inquiry about it, I know it exists.
Take care and stay safe and yes, keep me informed.

The one thing I would get rid of is my Borderline Personality Disorder, that also includes the severe depression that comes with it. I hate the fact I get up everyday with barely any motivation and that at the slightest comment that I view as having a go at me, I completely flip out and start arguing or crying

You need to get out of this rut. only you can do it. You have to put an effort in it. I don't know if you are mobile. If you can, first of all, have a positive attitude. There is no such thing as "I can't". You can achieve most things if you sincerely try. Grounding with nature, walking in the woods, open fields, Forrest, even garden, boosts your mood. Exercise also releases feel good hormones and you always feel a lot better when you exercise, mentally and physically. Engage yourself in a new activity, something you have never tried before, such as learning a new language, trying your hands at arts and crafts, doing a jigsaw cross words Sudoku, cooking a new dish. If you are able to socialise, if not in person but on line, on phone anything. Keep saying to yourself, "I am going to do this, I can do it, I am going to be okay. If you have severe depression, seek medical advice, sooner than later. There are medications to lift your moods, but they can be addictive if you are not careful. I hope this gives you some incentive to pick yourself out of this rut you are in. Good luck.

@Sickofpain ... I totally agree with @nineteen_gale on this subject. The only one that can help you is yourself! Make an effort to wake up every day (one day at a time), with a positive attitude. There is no such word as 'cannot'. We all can do things if we have the willingness to want to do them.
@nineteen_gale has given you so many suggestions here to get involved with. If they still don't help, then seek medical or professional advice, speak to your GP, go on an anti-depressant depending on which one, of course, due to addiction and find a bit of motivation to make life easier for yourself.
Go onto social media, join a group, i.e. on Facebook or Twitter, find people to talk to, and before you know it, your attitude will change.
All the best and keep us posted as to what you choose.

Thank you Lesley. it is an additional encouragement to Sickofpin. she/he needs it. The more people encourage her, the easier it will be for her to change her attitude. We can only hope for the best. Like we both said, the only person who can help is her/himself.
Take care and stay safe.

Hello to everybody in the forum, I would really want t get rid of my bladder problem it is the bane of my life.
I have been to see the quacks and they say there is nothing they can do, I had asked for a total bladder replacement, but nothing. I cannot stop the flow and have now resorted to wearing two big pads together to give me more cover and have less puddles in my clothes and any where else on route to the loo. The pads are supplied by the Continence Service and there are 16 packs every 12 weeks, and they give me 4 a day which is not enough. Trying to rush about with my osteoarthritis and getting of different chairs is a test of nerve and stamina to get to the bathroom. I do work at controlling my bladder sometimes it works, and then it does not, it only has to hear the tap running and it tries to compete with the flow! Some how the bladder problem is gaining the momentum on my life, and all this staying in away from the covid-19 possible infection, is also something that is getting me down. I have had two covid tests and luckily both were negative, the worst part is the swab up the the nose it is so unpleasant, so I have now had a letter to make an appointment for the first jab for the covid-19 so now more things to do. I find I am not keeping focused and my brain has a habit of switching it's self off and my eyes close and i have nodded off, it gets very annoying when I am watching a tv program and I miss bits! Well good folk I will leave you to gather yourselves for the next thing needing doing.

Have you ever been offered botox injected into your bladder. You cant pass water until you Catherine. It's easy and means you pass water when the time is convenient for yourself. I'm going along those lines myself as I have started with bladder problems. Hope that helps your situation honey x
