I am getting fed up with shielding, apart from a trip to visit my sister in August I haven't been out really since last March. It has got to the point where I wonder why I bother but I will still do it as I am considered high risk.

I'd get rid of my Fibromyalgia, as it causes so much disruption to my life, that I can't really plan anything ahead, which is upsetting and annoying, for a person who used to be so very active and social. The 24/7 pain is grueling and, because it's not a visible condition, people don't believe there's anything wrong with you - very annoying, especially when family members make sarcastic comments about it!!! I find it isolates me.

It seems your not the only one with bladder problems. I've had 4 bladder infections in 8 wks myself. Given antibiotics every time. A wk after I start again uncontrollable urine output. By the time I get to the loo it's too late I've wet myself yet again. Sent urine to hospital found nothing wrong with my bladder. Thank god you wrote about ms being the cause I was beginning to think the worst

Well now I've had 4 lots of antibiotics. If I need the loo I usually wet myself before I can even get there. Wonder if anyone else suffers the same embarrassing problems. Is it ms related

Have you tried Bladder exercises, such as holding yourself to stop going for a wee when you want to go but haven't got the time. Try and do that several times a day, sitting, standing lying down doesn't matter. You don't have to stop doing whatever you are doing. Just get into the habit of controlling the wee. The more often you do, the stronger your bladder muscles will become. But then I don't have MS and not sure how it is for MS sufferers. its just a thought. No harm in tying. The muscles will become stronger and you will be able to hold the wee till you get to the toilet. Do you have an MS support team you can talk to? It would be worth looking into. Good luck.

Nineteen Gale the urine comes out in a flood I dont have any control at the moment. I'm under investigation alas. I fancy having botox into my bladder as I had a few yrs ago. You cant pass water without catheterization yourself. It makes life easier as you cant pass water without a catheter lol

I am sorry to hear that Linda. I can understand your predicament. At least you are under investigations now, and I hope that something can be done. Are you under , or have you been referred to a Urologist? Do you wear nappy pants or incontinent pads. You can get them on prescription from your GP. Sorry I can not be of more help. Are you a member of MS society or organization for help and support?
Good Luck Linda, Take care and stay safe.
