@BAZWHEAT do u not take seizures now then ? See that's like me mine controlled but they turned me down I will try again when I have the pennies ,doc says I can drive , pisses me off coulda bought a car with all the taxis lol

Hi Donna, I never had any trouble getting my licence back. However that was in the 70s and then one had to be seizure free for three years !

Thing is the bus service here is awful by the time you go from one place ie: Newry/Belfast, you have very little time before you have to go back or you may end up stuck overnight/have to take a taxi back home. It would be better if I could get a car to travel in but that's not looking likely anymore.

Having a seizure whilst driving at the age of 17 was frightening. I haven't driven since and now rely on the good bus system. Thank goodness there is one.

Little update
I've since moved back to Glasgow from Ireland n I tried for provisional Oct 18 , doctor had to fill in medical form then they posted me same form for me to fill in then they sent the doc some other form to fill in and now I've to go for eye test n they're paying why wld they do tht if in not getting on ???, thn I got a letter this morning another medical form to fill in it says they've discovered I've another medical condition ( removal of tumour 2013 ) after eye test I get decision go on Wed.

i was turned down for provisional last year even though my epilepsy doesn't bother me at all ,,,, any one here drive or had to fight for licence ????
