Hello. Not sure if this helps but it is good to share experiences. I think I have had COPD for a number of years but was only diagnosed a couple of years ago when things started really going downhill. I live in a very rural location so if I don't do certain chores I am up the creek, ie if I don't clean and lay the fire I will have to sit with a blanket and hot water bottle. Exhaustion and sleep deprivation also don't help. My specialist suggested that I swapped the spiriva for seebri and it does appear to be slightly more effective although my GP tells me they are much the same product. I also have Easi-Breath which I can use more or less when I need it. I also indulge in a glass of whisky sometimes before bed which certainly helps with the sleep problem. ( smile) .
Best Wishes

I have easyhaler formoterol a powder type its 12 hour . I use the normal blue inhaler in between as required. This combination works for me & My fitness stamina has improved considerably in the last 12 months to nearly normal levels again my annual review is 10th of Feb I'm hoping my breathing function has improved or at least stayed the same. I feel that it's improved with this additional inhaler. I can do so much more with it.

I have Symbicort as my preventer and Ventolin as my reliever. In the past I've had all sorts of different colour inhalers, steroid tablets and nebulisers.
Since my gp put me on Fexofenadine every day I've not landed up in hospital and I've not suffered with bronchitis or pneumonia every winter either so I'm quite happy to continue. I get odd rashes from time to time but I have mcas and my gp thinks I may have lupus.

Hello everyone,
We know that sometimes the inhalers might not be enough to help us breath and cope with asthma, so there is where the Long-acting reliever inhalers come.
Does anyone out there uses them? What do you think about this treatment?
All the Best
