I was diagnosed with COPD in early 2000's and have found that taking my inhalers regularly having a rescue pack of steroid and antibiotics to hand when my breathing deteriorates helps as well as taking things slowly and resting in between tasks
i also have fibromyalgia so that makes me slow down too

Hi @blueges, Have you tried taking a brewers yeast tablet every day? excellent for providing energy, and has the added bonus of being great for skin , hair and nails too. I would not recommend taking more than one daily though, as otherwise you can get a little bit of wind pain in the tummy.

My husband has had several different inhalers - but now has salbutamol to use as necessary and Anoro in a morning. He also needs antibiotics and steroids from time to time, when he gets a particularly bad chest infection.

I have mild copd diagnosis. I try and cycle at least 20 minutes a day. This improves my energy levels and breathing. Find it much harder to keep up over Winter. Reducing my work hours has also helped but not easy financially especially with mortgage and teenage kids.

Hi @blueges - I am sure it is worth appealing - a large percentage of claims that have been refused are upheld on appeal I am told.
