I actually have ovarian cancer. My treatment will be surgery and then chemo. All I think now is that I'm terrified.

I am so sorry. I had chemo for breast cancer and my only thought was that I had to get through it. Each round was a tiny victory until it was completed. You will be terrified - most people are but justset your mind on getting through and be kind to yourself. All best wishes.

@minnymum78 Just take it one day at a time, Minny. Try to control the things you can control and let the rest go. You need to save your strength for better things. Anyone have any relaxation tips?

I was diagnosed with secondaries in lungs a year ago, very early, found on a scan for respiratory problem. Having regular scans and am on Aromasin, very small nodules, one has disappeared, one has remained the same and one grown slightly. I cannot fault the oncologist I see every three months and he is more than happy to answer my questions. The original cancer back in 2007 was a very different scenario, didn’t even see an oncologist and had three surgeries in one month and then another one months later to sort out the mess they made first time!

Breast cancer treatment plan can vary from one person to another, even though there is always a common base. I invite you to talk about your experience, compare your opinions and views on the subject of breast cancer treatment.
- What treatment you are currently undergoing? Do you find it effective so far? How does it make you feel?
- How and by whom was your treament plan established? Was your opinion taken into account?
- What do you expect from the new treatments for breast cancer, and the onse that have not yet been developed?
