Had our second jab on Sunday and I am pleased to say no side effects this time. Feel really happy to be fully vaccinated .

Oh sorry to hear about your collar bone, do hope the pain will ease soon. Good luck with the jab, as I said we were fine this time round.

Well got my second jab then straight back to seaside, managing to get my washing done instead of expensive onsite washing machines. So usual minor headahces and my wife said her arm a little sore so no real issues. So now I am going to get my life back, no masks hopefully and looking forward to the resturants opening, stay safe!

@Barcroft The nice thing is we all have the choice at the end of the day, it is after all your body. We have 90% take up in the vaccine in the older age groups who would be most affected, so small groups not taking the jab is fine!

I have had Grant's from social services in the past, because of my health issues.
I asked for a shower to replace the bath, but because I lived with able bodied peopl they put a shower over the bath. I managed to get a grant to have a downstairs toilet, to replace my old coal outhouse. It's been a big asset to my life, because of my ulcerative colitis.
I had my bathroom converted to a shower , by a local builder and both the downstairs toilet and new bathroom have improved my house.
The only sadness is that my late wife will never get to share my newer home . I had a new kitchen installed December 2019.. I know to some my story may seem unimportant, but the changes to my home has improved my live physically and emotionally.
LESMAL . Can I suggest that you get as much medical evidence you can to support your claim . If you dont get a full grant you may get a partial 1
Our health is precious and we need to look after ourselves sending hugs for encouragement .Keith mr chipps1.

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
The pharmaceutical groups Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany) announced on Monday 9 November that their vaccine candidate is 90% "effective" in preventing Covid-19 infections, according to preliminary results of their large-scale phase 3 trial, which is still ongoing.
What do you think about this? Do you plan to be vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is on the market?
Feel free to discuss and share in the comments below!
Take care,
Courtney
