The one little pleasure I take out of each day, is having internet, to be able to stay in touch with friends who are the other side of the world, and to be able to post on forums like this, in a supportive non-judgemental environment, being able to look at the new photos of my friends on Facebook, the other side of the world, brings a smile to my face, seeing the photos of those I miss, keeps me going, and keeps me aiming for my goal to see them again

@Jontt44 I eat porridge for breakfast most days too, I try to use fruit instead of sugar but sometimes I do put...Nutella! Not so healthy but quite delicious.
@Randa4 What book are you reading at the moment? I adore to read too and find that reading is the best escapism. I just finished a book about World War 2 and occupied France. It was very interesting but alittle too "Hollywood" at the end.
@StumpyDavies I love Facebook for this, I can see my family and what they are up to, even if they are quite far aay from me!

I enjoy listening to radio 4, a dawn chorus and a soaring lark. What gives me the greatest joy is knowing Jesus Christ died to give me life in abundance, no matter what travails I face in this life.

Due to my condition, venturing more than a few yards from my house means I am 99% dependent on my online social media interactions, I left work due to my degenerative disease but am investigating an alternattive to surgery as a means to alleviating my Cervical Disc Herniation. If it works that will be the most huge positive step in what's been a very debillitating 3 years or more since this all began.

Oh for me to sit and listen to the birds sitting there with me coffee, thinking wish I could just fly away. Some were nice warm and peaceful.

Reading. It’s flipping difficult at the moment. Too much brain fog and lack of concentration going on. Re read the same page over. I’m finding this app very rewarding today. Being able to read in short bursts.

Despite large library, books. From many genres. Including Factual. Having watched every episode Game Of Thrones, although not a usual reader of Fantasy recently bought full boxed set of 7. in total books. There is also Sets Regarding Prequels I would well recommend as pure escapism. Also anything puts health problems into background is bonus. P.S. Books also available singular but Amazon Set is bargain. Wishing everyone with Health and Pain problems the Best. But please don’t let it ever take over your life! Being lifetime suffering of many Health Issues Including Life Threateningly. Giving unique Perspective about life including fact only had 2. Holidays abroad and one in Great Britain 🇬🇧 Not a lot having had a Career until age 49. But Health and over 30. Divorce ending Romantic life Permanently my decision as many offers but alone since. One issue less to be concerned about just friends is enough. I further am capable making own decisions including health and living alone. Everyone take care. God Bless.

Hello everyone,
Having a chronic condition, or supporting a loved with their illness, can be difficult and tasking. However, we wanted to ask you, what little pleasure do you take out of each day? Is it your first cup of coffee in the morning? Listening to your favourite radio station? Completing that crossword?
We would love to hear from you and discover what gives you a daily boost and brings a smile to your face :)
