Hi Bunny, glad you like Gardening, i love it but haven't been able to get out there for quite a while due to all this RUDDY Pain. I have Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis and it's been absolutely creasing me. I'm stuck in the house all the time. My Pain Management Doctors have just taken me off the Butrans Patches and are putting me on Fentanyl. I have to go 5 days without any Patches, this is my 4 th day, and the Withdrawal symptoms are horrible. I just hope the Fentanyl works for me. I have read a lot about Fentanyl and there's a lot of bad things being said about them. I am only being started on the lower dose and I was wondering how you are getting on with your Patches, are they helping your Pain?.🤔.Take Care Glojo

Hello everyone,
In this difficult time, I thought it would be nice to revive this discussion. One of my favourite simple pleasures is that first sip of tea in the morning!
Or maybe slipping off my shoes at the end of a long day.
What about you? What are some of your favourite little pleasures?

@Courtney_J I would suggest a glass of water as a first drink to rehydrate after a night of possibly restless sleep? Especially can be some time between getting up and the first cup of tea. I know mine is. Lol! Therfore large glass of water is a good way to kick off the day. Especially as I limit myself to 3. cups of tea a day along with at least 5-6. glasses of wonderful water. As required to have by my G.P. I also like glass natural pasteurised orange.

@Jontt44 Hello Jontt44, thank you for the advice! I should definitely be trying to drink more water and cutting down on the caffeine! I do enjoy orange juice too in the morning. it's so refreshing!

I'm up every 2 hours during the night with an interrupted sleep pattern, which is due I am sure to all medication etc.
I have a glass of water every 2 hours during this 'wake up' period. I need my black tea first thing in the morning, then make my way with 2 cups of coffee during the day!
I love my herbal decaffeinated Rooibos tea also!
Am struggling with neck pain at the moment and headaches, but put this down to Osteoporosis and new epilepsy medication.
Hang in there, one day at a time, slowly does it, get the rest you need and above all, wash your hands regularly and stay at home!

My two absolute most favourite things are the smell of books (old ones, new ones, used ones, any books!) and long drives in the late spring or summer with the car windows down and the wind rushing through my hair! Total bliss for each, but in different ways!

Hello everyone,
Having a chronic condition, or supporting a loved with their illness, can be difficult and tasking. However, we wanted to ask you, what little pleasure do you take out of each day? Is it your first cup of coffee in the morning? Listening to your favourite radio station? Completing that crossword?
We would love to hear from you and discover what gives you a daily boost and brings a smile to your face :)
