Tbh at the moment there are loads of things that are giving me pleasure. I am a carer and I had a lot of help recently from a local organisation who help build emotional resilience. I would say it's because of that I am able to take so much pleasure out of life these days. I love seeing my collie give herself a good shake out in the morning lol. I am loving the bright sunny mornings ( I hope they last) and the sound of the birds outside. I love my work - singing and writing songs - and communicating with like-minded people on facebook and I love my Yoga :-)

With the lung conditions I have most things that used to give me pleasure are now impossible, so I have had to find new ones or alter old ones to fit.
I can however still drive, which always gave me great pleasure, only now we have a camper van and can go places that will give pleasure in the journey and the destination.

I'm lucky enough to be still able to enjoy playing golf. I regard this as a release from the everyday "stresses" of caring for a son who has a severe learning disabilty and is autistic. Notwithstanding he now lives away from us and we employ five staff to care for him it is still a stressful and worrying responsibility.

I have gone from dreading the endless wakeful nights to quite looking forward to that time, when I can plug in to a really good audio book. Sometimes the nights are just not long enough now!

I suffer with M.E. amongst other things and spend a lot of time asleep. However, I do enjoy doing sudoku puzzles and really enjoy making cards etc. when I have energy. I also like to be there to help others too on FB and think it helps to share.
Have a good day everyone xx

The first cup of coffee in the morning, got to be fresh brewed, no instant muck ! Then I like to sit in the conservatory watching the sun rise with my dogs snoring gently beside me and my lovely fresh coffee! Bliss!

I like a nice cold Coconut nd Pianeapple fresh juice. Followed a nice visit from Grandchildren 4 & 2 ( going on 40 & 20.). Then the silence when they go home.. chances are when they have gone I have a good cry.

For me being retired but do a lot of voluntary work it is getting on my computer with a lovely cup of coffee and either working out Day Coach Tours, or what to put on for the next Loneliness Support Group I run or writing out the Agenda being I am the chair of our local children's park for the next meeting. Or for a treat just relaxing.

Hello everyone,
Having a chronic condition, or supporting a loved with their illness, can be difficult and tasking. However, we wanted to ask you, what little pleasure do you take out of each day? Is it your first cup of coffee in the morning? Listening to your favourite radio station? Completing that crossword?
We would love to hear from you and discover what gives you a daily boost and brings a smile to your face :)
