I use jointace patches and find they are very good for localised flare up of joints and last up to 12 hours and are natural herbs so no allergy problems
They do a rub in balm as well and that's good but find the patches better

Hi
I've tried actipatch......mostly on my back and it seems to work a little bit there but not on any other joint that I have pain.
I have a friend [another arthritis care volunteer] it works brilliantly for her So we are all different

I was going to get it for my husband, but two friends have it and say it hasn't worked for them, so I am not sure we will bother.

Hi there to all. I have just joined this site. I have tried Acti patch, completing a trial for the company. I must admit, It really didn't affect my pain in any way. I have heard it has worked for other people, but not for me.

Do you know how the company trial went @Keith walker , or don't they share that sort of information with you?

Suncatcher2015. I haven't received any info regarding the overall trial. It would be interesting to know.

Love the thought of these but after a little time spent finding info, don't think anyone with heart rhythm problems should be using them.

I tried it too as I am suffering a frozen shoulder, but I didn't notice any difference. I had to remove it as I starting itching a lot where the plaster went. Always happy to try anything.

I had a hip replacement 16 months ago due to osteoarthritis. I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. Yes I was not looking forward to everything post op, but I am now 100% mobile and after not being able to walk any distances I now enjoy walking again and I've managed to lose 2.5 stones. Totally pain free and I've had lots of comments about how much happier I look - my face was obviously showing my pain. If you have any questions please ask!

Hello everyone,
Have you heard of Actipatch? It is an electromagnetic pulse therapy, aimed at relieving e.g. knee and joint pain and it has an anti-inflammatory effect too.
Please feel free to share your experiences on Actipatch or any similar treatment here.
All the best,
Marina
