@JayneMason Hello JayneMason, thank you for opening this discussion and sharing what you've been dealing with. How did your appointment go?
Hello members, how are you today? Have you ever experienced bowel urgency and/or incontinence in parallel with your MS? How did you handle it? Do you know if it was caused by MS itself or the treatments?

@JayneMason Yes I've started having some bowel issues as well. My specialist said it was the medicines I'm taking. Maybe it's that for you as well? How was your appointment?

It's difficult focusing on my bowel when it's totally unpredictable. If I take medication to slow down my bowel when I go out. My bowel is sluggish for days. I'd love to hear your views on this matter. It's difficult being in a new relationship with this problem. Even though my fiancee has irritable bowel. We end up laughing about the situation as theres nothing we can do

I've had a couple of embarrassing moments. Part of my plan is always to know where my emergency loo is. I had a minor panic when I had to board a light aircraft for part of a particular journey - no loos there!
Pretty sure it is MS related.

Hello everyone, thank you for creating and participating in this discussion!
@JayneMason How are you feeling? Were you able to speak with your neurologist? Were they able to provide any clarity on this for you?
Take care,

Well hello everyone happy new year. I find ms unpredictable. Alas it's like most parts of my life. I take the ups with the downs quite well. Having had ms forty years helps. To me ms is normal. I've had ms more of my life than not. Hopefully this vaccine wont be too long. Weve enough to worry about. I'm a fighter now it works for me. No point getting down. Take care God Bless you all

I bought a key for most toilets I can use when the loos are closed feel safer as long as I can locate the loos before I set off.
