Invisibility - there's nothing that shows on the outside how I feel inside. Maybe if I had something like a bright red face that would get brighter with the increase in pain I'm having. Or better still, where I have the most pain to turn green. At least whenever I'm having a flare up, I'll be so green all over nobody will doubt my pain. No more - "You'll feel better after you exercise " or "what's wrong with you? You don't look ill! Maybe if you ### you'll feel better! "

It has to be the tiredness....followed closely by the pain in legs arms, back and headaches. The swelling of hands and feet comes next and the inability to remember what I’m talking about ..feeling woolly in my head........ brain fog is a great name for it !
struggling for the last week with pain then bruising in the palm of hand and wrist, for no reason , couldn’t use my left hand for 3 days.
Now the voice has gone..... eeeh it’s not good!
But you have to try and keep happy and SMILE xx

PAIN PAIN AND MORE PAIN. I'm 69 years old and actually don't know what to do anymore. Nevermind the chronic fatigue, depression and brain fog that goes with it. I've tried numerous supplements. Spent a lot of money on Turmeric and kept it up for a long time but it didn't help together with a lot of other supplements. The CBD oil that I'm taking doesn't do much either and it's a high strength. I'm on Citalopram at the moment. The Dr prescribed Nortriptylene but it over stimulates me. I seem to react to most chemicals in meds as they have the opposite effect and stimulate me which then keeps me awake at night. I've had fibromyalgia for over 25 years. I'm from South Agrica and one thing that did help was trigger point injections with lidocaine which a Professor Meyer who specialised in Fibromyalgia gave me. They definitely helped but since I've been in the UK for 7 years it's been an ongoing battle. We are retired and I can't afford to carry on spending loads of money on supplements. So I wish there was a miracle cure. Just venting !!!!

Hello,
As the title says, if you could get rid of one of your fibromyalgia symptoms, which one would it be and why? It will be interesting for you all to share your most difficult symptom and how your life would change if it was gone. You might have some reasons in common :)
