My brother was a sufferer of migraines and I have epilepsy. We were told by the Doctors many years' ago that migraine and epilepsy were connected.
Headaches have always affected me before and after a seizure. I wake up with a headache often which can clear itself but occasionally gets worse during the daytime. I take Anadin which tends to alleviate the pain.
Often if the headache persists and tiredness, anxiety or congestion sets in, then a seizure will occur.
Carbamazepine and Phenytoin (the 2 medications I take) do not reduce the pain.

Have you ever noticed that you have been having more migraines/headaches since your diagnosis? Or was it before the diagnosis?
Does your epilepsy medication help you reduce pain?
