@elizabethmary That's the high fat diet that's popular right now, isn't it? I don't know anyone who's tried it. I'd do some reading on it. Be careful though and do research it, some of these popular diets can give you great results but do some mad things to your body.

Hello @elizabethmary @henrick thank you for creating this discussion. The Keto diet is indeed a popular topic of conversation these days!
Hello members, I hope you don't mind that I've tagged you. Have you tried the keto diet? What do you think about it?

Hello,
I haven’t tried it myself as I worry about starting something I can’t carry on with for the rest of my life x

@elizabethmary @Maureen74 I haven't tried it either, I'm just awful at keeping up with diets.
I've only heard of it in passing, does anyone know what it entails?

@Maureen74 @madeleine09 I was just reading about this! It sounds very difficult to me. It's a very low-carb diet, I think they limit you to only about 30g per day and it's meant to get your body to "ketosis" where it burns fat for energy. I'll try to find the article again, but I think it was on a diabetes site.

Thank you all for replying, I'll ask my doctor about it if he thinks it'd be effective. If anyone passes by here who has tried it, let us know what you think!

I've head some people have eliminated their type 2 diabetes with the keto diet. Is this true? Anyone tried it?
