Very much so, tried Viagra etc., did not work, the only thing I found that works is losing weight. I found there seems to be a direct link, I am on a diet now, finally got my blood sugars down, just awaiting for such matters to return. But might require a few more pounds yet, happy days!

Hello @henrick! How are you feeling today?
Thank you for starting this discussion! Men with diabetes frequently experience erection issues, also known as erectile dysfunction or ED. Particularly people who have type 2 diabetes. Long-term high blood sugar levels can harm blood vessels and nerves. Problems obtaining or maintaining a firm enough erection are brought on by this damage. I will tag some members who might want to share their thoughts on this topic.

Hello,
It's a bit easier to talk here about it anonymously than it is in person to my doctor, so I would appreciate any insight. It's a bit of am embarrassing topic, but one thing I have noticed since I got diagnosed with diabetes is that I struggle to maintain an erection. It's not all the time, but often enough. Does anyone know if this is a symptom?
Thank you
