Have you felt stigmatized or discriminated against because of your breast cancer? What kind of emotional support have you received? From whom? Where do you look for emotional support?
Let's share!

Hi @LizziB
I did feel stigmatized, I think people had pity for me. At first I noticed people treated me differently, especially at work, but after a while, I think it went back to normal. Family functions were always hard, since they happen seldomly, they were not all prepared for the changes in my appearance. I joined a cancer group in my town. It was really helpful, and I got to meet some amazing people. I didn't really look for support online, I am more of a social person, so I like to do things in person and chat, I feel closer to people that way.
