Hello
I’m in the middle of chemotherapy treatment at the moment. Every trip to hospital seems like Russian Roulette! I’m in and out like a ninja 😷
The plus side is that it will finish around the same time as my self-isolation (end of June) so I’m lucky to be in lockdown with my family to keep me sane. I am concerned that my treatment may be cancelled, but trying to stay positive. I work for the NHS ( Ambulance Service) so am also feeling guilty as I can’t work and my colleagues are facing such challenges every day.
I limit myself to how much news I watch otherwise I feel so anxious, trying to do nice things like meditation and drawing.
Good luck and stay safe xxx

Hi ladies, glad to hear your coping with the isolation🙂 I’m just a month after my second Op so am just recovering I’m safe at home with my Husband and son , missing the rest of my family as is everyone else , I guess this horrible virus puts things into perspective my future is uncertain but everyone else’s is too ❤️ My thoughts go to the families of the people who didn’t make it through and of course our amazing key workers especially NHS xx

Hello ladies, it's wonderful to hear from you all. The anxiety of this whole situation has been hard to deal with, especially since I live alone, but I'm trying to stay cheery despite it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep the stress at bay?
@Jojo234067 Oh my dear I am keeping you in my thoughts on the front lines! I can't imagine the pressure you're under! Hope you're staying strong and as safe as possible! xx

Hello all you Brave Ladies
I am 74 and in April 2019 I was diagnosed with a grade 3 invasive carcinoma plus a high grade DCIS in same breast ER + and Her 2+ had surgery and radiotherapy I was due to have 18 Herceptin injections but was stopped at 12 as it was affecting my heart, I was due to have my first post op mammogram in May but I have heart nothing I read that mammograms were cancelled for three months but the breast care nurses I have are worse than useless cannot get hold of them as they are working on front line, I was also due to see my chemo oncologist on 3rd May I have not recieved any cancelation on this appointment as of today, I am classed as vunerable so on 12 weeks lockdown what happens to my appointment will my oncologist phone me, I feel like i'm in limbo at the moment not able to have my first mammogram is making my mind go into overdrive that everything is not so fine
sorry for the long winded message stay safe everyone

Hello ladies, it's been a few days so I thought I would check in with you all. How are you doing? Is the isolation getting to you, or are you still managing to stay positive? Getting some time in the sun really helps me cheer up, I hope you all will maybe get to enjoy it a bit this weekend before the rain returns!
Feel free to keep sharing how you're doing and feeling here

Hello ladies,
I know there's a similar discussion in the Living with Cancer group, but I thought it would be nice for us to have our own. How are you all doing?
I'm in remission right now so not going through any treatments, but I've been being careful and self-isolating with the family since my immune system may still not be back to where it should be. How are you all handling all of this madness? Have your treatments been rescheduled? This has all been hard on me mentally, I've been so anxious anyway that the cancer would come back, and then now I'm worried that me or my family will catch it. Trying to stay positive though and do other things to keep the mind occupied.
Stay safe! xx
