Prescribed plaquenil back in 1998 when I first started getting tested for A.I issues to be honest it didn’t make me feel any better at the time until the introduction of steroids alongside it. I don’t think it does anything to improve my condition but i’ve never stopped it so don’t know how I’d be now without it.

This was a really effective drug at the beginning of my treatment. However, The side effects were terrible for my body. I was always feeling dizzy, nauseatic but the pain was not substantially reduced. The worse side effect is that I developed tinnitus which is still there and affecting my lifestyle. I had to stop the drug for good as the side effects were unbearable.
