Hi, going to have to undergo total colectomy for my ulcerative colitis soon and and as I've never been operated for anything in my whole life, it scares me a little, even if I know it's for the best. Can anyone tell me please how did the surgery go and give me some advice on what to expect before, during and after? would be really grateful.
