Well my wife, if she spends anytime in bed is attached to her CPAP and would never sleep without it. I even have a temporary electricity supply in case we lose power, always seems to be at night!

Hello everyone, how are you doing today?
Using a CPAP machine to manage sleep apnoea can be challenging, but a recent study shows the power of peer support in making it easier. The research found that patients with obstructive sleep apnoea who received peer mentoring used their CPAP devices more consistently (for an average of 4.5 hours per night, compared to 3.7 hours for those without support) and reported higher satisfaction with their care compared to those who only received educational materials. This approach not only reduces the burden on healthcare providers but also adds a personal touch to care.
Would having someone guide you through the process make you more likely to stick with CPAP therapy?
