Thanks for tag. It is a very interesting topic and, if successful, and helps to keep people living longer and better lives then it’s to be applauded.

Hi i now suffer with emphysema, i get breathless so quick but since having my breast cancer now suffering with osteoporosis every time i cough it really bothers me because im so scared that coughing will cause my ribs to fracture having so many illnesses i find it really hard but if i do go out i cant walk to far as getting breathless i have to sit down on my rolator just to ease the pain and my breathing ,then going to bed i cant sleep for coughing i cant go out because i get to scared of catching this virus i know i wouldn't be able to fight it off and im not ready for a box yet if i did go out i would be wearing a mask because i would feel more safer there is a lady upstairs in the flat above us she is on oxygen and she wears a mask all the time she goes out so there is no excuse .Tiger

Try different pillows to stop night coughing Dont worry your ribs won't break or fracture As for not going out I fully agree with you I've not been out since April n dont intend to Cos like you I would not stand a chance against covid

I will definitely give that a try thank you suzannah for that as at night it gets quite worrying, what with coughing and tinitus it gets hard to get a good night's sleep but maybe extra pillows will do the job xxx

Hello to all of you,
Finally I was diagnosed with emphysema.
My pulmonologist told me about an operation that involves putting small cables in the lungs.
Do you know if it hurts? How much does it cost? Do you have any other treatments?
Thank you for your answers, I'm a little down...
