Hey @Jenhumphris. Firstly so glad your surgery went well and you don't require chemo. Sorry to hear you are feeling alone. I hope this is a temporary blip and this passes. Stay strong. I had my pre assessment appointment yesterday for my surgery on 3rd and I'm so nervous, but I know that will pass.
If you ever need to talk I'm here . This is so very new to me so would love to be of help to you

Hi, I was diagnosed last Wednesday ,with Serous High Grade. I'm having debulking, followed by 6 rounds of chemo. My cancer is deposits on my peritoneal, they havent found a mass. After the gynaecological surgeon removes all my parts, They will scrape off all they can find and the hope is that the chemotherapy gets the rest and keeps it at bay. Trying to find someone with the same cancer is proving difficult. I'm so happy you reached out, hopefully we can help each other.

Thank you to everyone for your responses. I've been so caught up in getting everything squared away for my surgery that I didn't have a chance to log-in. Your answers mean so much to me. Thank you.

I was diagnosed with serous grade 3 C Ovarian cancer in May 2019 following 3 rounds of chemo to shrink the cancer I had major surgery to remove the mass , during the operation I had my appendix out as the surgeon had to get behind it to remove one of the lumps, he removed 5 lumps in total and after the operation , said he had removed everything visible.I had 3 more rounds of chemo together with Avastin. On 29th November I was told I was I was in remission and I was to have Avastin every 3 weeks until September ( a total of 18 cycles.)I I am still getting some pain, I saw my Oncologist on Friday following a CT Scan and was told I have a nodule on my Spleen and another on my lymph node in my groin. She has therefor stopped the Avastin and I am not having any treatment for 3 months.I have been left feeling very scared, but trying to keep positive.

Hello,
I was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I will have to get surgery to have the affected areas removed and then possibly chemo. My grandmother, great-aunt and my mother's sister all died from this and I'm terrified. I'm fortunate that it was caught early, but I'm so afraid that even after all the surgery and treatment, it's still going to come back.
How do I deal with this? What should I expect? I feel so lost and alone.
