Hello @Sandra62
Thank you for starting a new conversation and welcome to the forum!
Members, has anyone else out there experienced longterm pain that seems to be a result of cancer-related surgery?
Take care,
Michael

Good luck Lippyloz. I have mine on 2nd Feb. Hope everything goes well for you.
Do you know what cancer you have. Trying to find someone with the same as me. "Serous high grade" as really want to know if what I'm feeling, is normal. I was diagnosed last week, so still reeling from the news.

Hi Courtney, the pain has gotten better, but I still do have it when I do anything strenuous like exercise. Has anyone else been through this?

Hello,
I had both my ovaries removed as well as a hysterectomy after they found cancer. It's been about 6 months now and I still feel sharp pains in my abdominal area when I try to lift things, even light things. The doctors say everything is healing nicely and I just need to take it easy. Has anyone had surgery? How long did it take to get back to "normal", or close enough?
Thanks,
Sandy
