I have been on metformin for many years and found it very helpful. I get the odd tummy cramp. Just joined this group. Looks a great group

@Dangermouse Hi I've been on three a day for two months now only side effect is a small increase in flatulence.

I have been on Metformin for about 6 months now and some of my side effects include falling asleep during the day, very restless legs and being very bloated then having ibs symptoms all not very nice but can be funny sometimes . good luck and i hope it helps you

Hiya, I have been on Metformin for years with no side effects, then they changed my tablet to Sukkarto, I'm guessing it's a cheaper alternative, hence the surgery making the switch. But I must say that I haven't had any adverse reactions or side effects, and I am assured by the Diabetic Nurse that there is no difference. That's the best I can do .... all the best and stay safe all.
